About Our Studio

Learn more about why Jennifer created Aspen

The Aspen tree is native to Alberta and has developed resiliency to extreme growing conditions-long, harsh winters and short, dry summers. On windy days you can see the leaves fluttering, and if you listen closely, the sound of light chatter fills the air.  Most notable about the Aspen is the unique way in which they grow…this strong tree prefers the company of others in order to flourish.

Jennifer’s vision of creating a unique place of growth, self discovery, support and laughter is most closely illustrated by the beautiful Aspen tree.

Classes take place in Jennifer’s boutique style, home studio, located at 503 Windbrook Heights in Airdrie, Ab. There is plenty of room for parking on the driveway and on the street directly in front of Jennifer’s home.

Aspen is home to Jennifer’s 2 terriers, Morgan and Angus. They might greet you at the door, and Morgan may sneak down to sleep in front of the fireplace if it’s a very cold day. If you are not comfortable with dogs, please let Jennifer know ahead of time and she will happily crate them.

There is a washroom for your convenience and plenty of room for coats, purses, and whatever else you might have with you.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early, as the front door will be locked prior to the start of each class.

Classes are limited to 6 people, ensuring that each student receives adjustments and attention if desired. There is plenty of room to stretch out and unwind. Props will be provided or if you wish to bring your own you are welcome to do so.
